Re: Fuel Pressure Nightmare

The saga continues. After replacing yet another fuel pressure sensor, the Level 1 failed again. I called the folks at Discovery and Rob Spivey showed up and after he tried in vain to adjust the engine driven fuel pump settings, he determined that the fuel pump needed to be bench tested and perhaps o...

Re: Fuel Pressure Nightmare

Dear Michael,

Thanks for the input. I also thought it was a fuel contamination issue. We cleaned out the entire fuel system and there was almost no
contamination. However, I will point this out to Joe and I am sure he has the equipment to clean the injectors.

Kind regards
Robert

Fuel Pressure Nightmare

Dear All, Yet another episode of "I love my Libby but hate the Fadec". My Liberty started having problems about 10 days ago. There was rough running at lowish RPM settings. I had something similar happen in the past and it was fuel contamination blocking the 10 and 35 micro filters. After ...

Re: Avidyne IFD540: Amazing

Hi Michael,

I would be interested in the 530W. Let me know what you are asking.
It would be for my Liberty now based in Florida.

Re: Press Release from Discovery Aviation

I have an XL2 in Germany. Could make it. When exactly is it and would Liberty/Discovery want me there?

Low Voltage Harness Problem

Dear All, My mechanic in Germany (and myself) were besides ourselves with frustration regarding my XL2. During high power settings (above 1700 RPM) and high oil temperatures (above 150°), the engine become spasmodic (generally went crazy). The RPMs , fuel flows, fuel pressures all wildly varied. Thi...

Re: Intro from a Newbie to the Forum

Hi Paul. I will also locate to Spruce Creek 7FL6 in November. I am taking over Dogman's condo on Taxiway Echo. Due to extreme problems with getting my Liberty serviced in Europe, I will ship her back to the US at that time. So, there will be a Liberty back at Spruce Creek and I look forward to meeti...

Reading EDI files .dal

Dear All, My problems with my Liberty remain. Joe Turnbach has suggested that it is a wiring problem that we will look into further. In the mean time, I have purchased an EDI card reader and was able to load the files onto my computer. The format is rather unusual, e.g. edi0007.dal. I am unable to o...
