Alternator For 2006 Liberty XL2

Post by potatokappa »

In desperate need of an alternator for my airplane. Does anyone currently have one for sale? Please advise if you do. The MFR Model Number is ES-6012-6. Thank you in advance.

Air Power has them for $675.00.

I would be surprised though if there's not someone on or near the field at KCNO who can rebuild what you have.

There's also a service information letter dated March 9, 2011 put out by Hartzell Engine Technologies A-137 on ES-6012-6 Alternators Continued Airworthiness & Brush Service Instructions which provides guidance on it that you may find useful.

Thanks for the information. Got it off air power, but found out it was actually not the alternator... unfortunately the belt was damaged from replacing it, and now we are looking for the belt. So far no luck, the factory lead time is 80 days on it, if anyone have a spare one for sale or any lead would be greatly appreciated.
