Prop looked good on pre flight, the vibration was unbelievable.was IFR at the time.

I bet the vibration was bad! - if IFR low visibility must have been terrifying! Glad it all worked out.

My prop looks pretty ugly and I have been putting off getting it overhauled since I purchased it...I may reconsider now LOL

Tafi, I decided to get a formal quote given the disparity between my verbal last year and your quote. They came back close to $2500, so the good news is that your LAME does not appear to be milking you!

Thanks Paul,he later explained something to me.He had it charged to his account which gives some time to pay it off.I just hope I wont have it damaged again when I use gravel strips.

My prop was ugly when I bought the plane, however I have not noted any additional damage that I have noticed in 50hrs odd and I have used it on gravel strips, albeit relatively clean (similar to Murray Bridge). You should be right if careful.
