Contacts for Parts?

Post by ATCguy »

I just got involved with a liberty as the mechanic in exchange for being able to use it. It has a nose wheel shimmy and upon inspection, it needs a new friction pad (part # 135A-40-303) and I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

As you all are aware, discovery seems to have closed. Does anyone have one of these parts or know a contact to be able to get it?

Thanks in advance.

Discovery is NOT closed. They are in the midst of a reorganization and physical relocation. Parts are available. I will send you some contact information.

I'll do that, but It it would be far lass expensive to simply have your ASI serviced, or find the fault in your pitot-static system. Parts swapping gets expensive when it comes to the panel in any airplane.

^ sounds like it is the light bezel as opposed to the ASI. Not sure if it is integral or a bezel light like they sell via Aircraft spruce
