That seems silly. For the same money you could invest in Aspen PFD, which based on format alone has to be many times more versatile and extensible. By the time you purchase the AI, HSI, and CDI, you've spent almost $12,000, which is Aspen EFD Pro money and you don't have nearly the features, functions, or ergonomics. Unless you're building a hybrid glass panel over time for some reason, or want glass in an airplane with *very* limited panel real estate, this doesn't make much sense to me. A Huge part of the benefit of glass is the configurable information density and and enhancement to scan. This thing just doesn't have that.
True @GimpyPilot.The price tag is high if we bring in all the other aspects.It will be cheaper to buy a G5.Probably we are going to see more competitors coming in.I am not upgrading mine anytime soon unless I come across cheaper used ones.
