Wing support - maintenance

Post by paulmilo »

Hi,

Has anyone built supports to enable the wing to be ‘trolleyed’ away from the fuselage during annual maintenance checks.

I’m looking to build something that can be easily dismantled and carried in the plane when I take it in for its annual. Before I head off on a tangent and redesign the wheel, thought I’d check if anyone has already done it.

I’ve often thought about the concept but the project hasn’t bubbled up to the top of my list (yet).
