New life for FADEC?

Post by ducst2 »

Saw a news article today in Flying Magazine for a new aircraft, the Cobalt Valkyrie, which alludes to the use of a Continental FADEC engine.

Assume it may be the TSIOF-550 (http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Video/All- ... for-Cirrus), which I believe uses the same Aerosance FADEC technology as in our XL-2 aircraft. If they actually build and sell these, it would be good to see another aircraft type using the same FADEC technology to keep the viability going.

On another note, has anyone heard anything from Discovery lately. Seems like they've been quiet since Oshkosh...
