Years ago someone posted a rudder lock ,that consisted of two pieces of strapping from the top of the rudder to the bottom ,I used it for years but have gone to the bungee method as it takes up less room when traveling.

I’m one of the 17 check on a regular basis.

Looks like it could be a good option,I’d be interested .

Prop looked good on pre flight, the vibration was unbelievable.was IFR at the time.

The Rotax 915 IS would be a good replacement engine.

Make sure to get a good inspection on the metal edge, years ago I had a metal edge separation while in flight.

Just got my prop back from MT Deland Fl. $1750 changed leading edge.

Just had an overhaul from MT Deland Florida 1750.00 changed out the metal strips.

do we have any idea of what Rotax they are going to use?

Going experimental isn’t as easy as it sounds. You can’t just declare the airplane is experimental, could be difficult depending on the FISDO involved.
