Re: Fuel pressure issues causing Fadec Warning

Gasolator cleaned & installed correctly during annual? Fuel tank vent pipe unobstructed? The filters were not cleaned properly. I am disappointed with myself. We did not follow the instructions of using Ultrasonic cleaner. We had to soak the 10Micron filter overnight and there was a lot of improvemen...

Re: Fuel pressure issues causing Fadec Warning

Is there any difference with running your aux fuel pump on in terms of the PSi? Might need to either rebuild your fuel pump or replace? Running the boost pump by manually putting the switch to on makes it worse and returning it to auto it goes back to the previous running state. My pump number is 65...

Re: Fuel pressure issues causing Fadec Warning

Make sure that you use a digital gauge that has been calibrated. When I had issues with my brand new engine turned out that my mechanic didn't have an accurate mechanical gauge and it wasn't right until we put a different calibrated gauge and turned out it was much lower. Thanks a lot mate,I will a...

Re: Fuel pressure issues causing Fadec Warning

I mentioned the fuel vent pipe check to ensure you weren’t drawing a vacuum on the fuel talk. Oh yes I checked the vent its not obstructed. The field guys from Continental have advised checking for blockage in the line from tank to gascolator, then to boost pump then up to the mechanical pump. The nex...

Re: Fuel pressure issues causing Fadec Warning

Just an update, high fuel pressure is getting low.I am not sure if something is restricting fuel flow or its the mechanical pump not able to hold pressure.Today the engine was run on ground at WOT, fuel pressure was getting up to 45PSI.After adjusting, it got up to 48psi.Leaving the engine at WOT we ...
