If you have the original parts list that came with the aircraft when it was first bought it will have the original company and then the Liberty part number on it.

Just a FYI the doors are made specific to the fuselage and will not fit others....that came directly from the factory....

Is there any difference with running your aux fuel pump on in terms of the PSi? Might need to either rebuild your fuel pump or replace?

Make sure that you use a digital gauge that has been calibrated. When I had issues with my brand new engine turned out that my mechanic didn't have an accurate mechanical gauge and it wasn't right until we put a different calibrated gauge and turned out it was much lower.

I’m aware of that. But is the fadec system nessecary for overhaul if it’s not broken? (Part 91) Continental factory will either rebuild or factory new an IO-240-B5 FADEC engine and included is providing you the buyer all the FADEC part/systems to ensure that everything works. I am unaware of anyone...

When I was deciding whether to buy a new or rebuilt engine from the factory I was told that the ECU are sent in with the core and that the new or rebuilt engine would come with new ECUs. There is nothing to update or repair with the ECU according to Continental as they build them on site. Just my tw...
